Site Information and Directions

Cedar Run Horse Center

This site is an INDOOR site (horse arena - not climate controlled). Ring size is 80' x 100'. The surface is dirt mixed with sand (not dusty) and works well for agility. This site is in the Dale City, Va. area and is between Manassas, Va. (I-66) and Woodbridge, Va. (I-95).

From I-66:

Take Exit 44 - Rt. 234 South (which is called the Prince Wm. Parkway here - and also known as the Rt. 234 bypass).

In approximately 8 miles, the Prince Wm. Parkway turns left; however, continue straight and stay on Rt. 234 South.

You will soon cross the Occoquan Creek Bridge. At the 1 st stoplight after the bridge, you will see a 7-11 on the left (Purcell Rd.). Go straight through this stoplight.

Continue for 2 more stoplights (another 7-11 on the left). Turn left onto Hoadly Rd. (Rt. 642).

Continue on Hoadly Rd. for approximately 2.2 miles, past the flashing yellow lights.

Take 1 st right onto Spriggs Rd.

Continue on Spriggs Rd. for approximately 2.2 miles to the 2 nd Anthony Drive. Turn right onto Anthony Drive. (Note: Anthony Drive horseshoes onto Spriggs Rd. and therefore meets it twice.) Landmark assistance: Just beyond the right turn onto Anthony Drive, you will see white 3-board fencing on the corner lot.

Make 1 st left turn onto Leilani Drive and follow to horse center.

From the Prince Wm. Parkway / Liberia Ave. intersection in Manassas:

Follow Prince Wm. Parkway East for approximately 9 miles to stoplight at Hoadly Rd.

Turn right onto Hoadly Rd.

Follow for approximately 2 miles to stoplight at Dale Blvd.

Continue straight through this stoplight.

Make 1 st left onto Spriggs Rd. (no stoplight here) and follow directions above.

From I-95:

Take Exit 152B (Rt. 234 N) toward Manassas.

Follow Rt. 234 for approximately 3.3 miles to right turn at stoplight onto Spriggs Rd. (Note: this is the 1 st stoplight after Waterway Drive.) ( After turning onto Spriggs Rd., you will see Forest Park High School on the right.)

Follow Spriggs Rd. for approximately 1.4 miles to the stoplight at Minnieville Rd. Go straight through this stoplight (Food Lion shopping center is on the right.)

Continue on Spriggs Rd. for less than one mile. You will pass Minnieland Day School on the left and soon see white 3-board fencing on a corner lot on the left. Turn left just after the white fencing onto Anthony Drive.

Make 1 st left onto Leilani Drive and follow to horse center.

Take Exit 141 off Interstate 81. Go 4 Miles on Route 419 South, at the Fourth Light take a Right onto Boulevard. The Salem Civic Center will be on your right.

Directions to the Show

from the East. Take Route 58 into Danville until you pass the Stratford Inn. After going under the overpass for Route 29 Business make a right turn at the next stoplight. This will be Mount Cross Road. Show Site is approximatly one mile on the left.

from the North. Take Route 29 South. You may then follow the Danville Express Way to Route 58 and follow directions from the East. You may also follow Business 29S through Blairs and down Piney Forest Road to Piedmont Drive. At the third stoplight take a right turn onto Mt. Cross Rd. Show Site is one half mile on the left.

From the South. Route 86. Take Route 86 into Danville until it intersects with Route 58. Take the 58W Exit. Follow the directions from the East past Stratford Inn. Route 29 from the South. Follow Route 29 into Danville on Business 29. From the City Limits go to the fourth stoplight and make a left turn across the Bridge. Go straight until you come to the third stoplight. Make a left turn onto Mt. Cross Road. Show Site is one half mile on the left.

From the West. Follow Route 58 into Danville until you come to the interchange with Piedmont Drive. Danville Lincoln Mercury and Barkhouser Ford will be on your left. Once on Piedmont Drive go to the third stoplight and make a left turn. Show Site is one half mile on the left.

ROUTES TO THE SHOW

From South - Follow Rt. 17 North towards I-66. Follow Rt. 17 Business to Marshall. At the intersection of Rt. 17 Business and Rt. 55 (stop sign), proceed straight ahead on Rt. 710 (Rectortown Road). Follow Rt. 710 for 4 miles to Rectortown. Turn right on Rt. 624 (Crenshaw Road), continue on to Warrenton Kennel Club's Showgrounds on right.

From East or West on Interstate 66 - Take I-66 to Exit 28 (Rt. 17) to Marshall. Follow Rt. 17 Business to Marshall and proceed as above.

From East or West on Rt. 50 (Between Middleburg & Upperville) - Turn SOUTH at ATOKA and take Rt. 713 straight ahead 4 miles to Rt. 710, turn right to Rectortown and proceed as above.

From the Washington Beltway (I-495):

" Take the Dulles Toll Road West (Rt. 267, total toll $.85)

" At Exit 9, Rt. 28, Sully Road turn right and go North to Rt. 7

" Exit West to Leesburg on Rt. 7 go the Leesburg By-Pass Rt. 15 North

" Go North on Rt. 15 By-Pass approximately 2.6 miles.

" Turn left on Tutt Lane, continue to Morven Park entrance on the left.

" Take the Dulles Greenway from Rt. 28 or the Dulles Toll Road directly to By-Pass Rt. 15 North at Leesburg. Toll - $2.00

" Go North on By-Pass approximately 5 miles and turn left on Tutt Lane.

" Continue to Morven entrance on the left.

From the West:

" Take Rt. 7 East to the Leesburg By-Pass Rt. 15 North or

" Take I-66 East or Rt. 50 East to Rt. 15 North. At Leesburg take By-Pass Rt. 15 North approximately 5 miles and turn left on to Tutt Lane.

" Continue to Morven Park entrance on the left.

From the North:

" Take Rt. 15 South to the Dog Show Signs just North of the Rt. 15 Business and By-Pass split.

" Turn right on to Tutt Lane, continue to Morven Park entrance on the left.

From the South:

Warrenton take Rt. 29/211 to Rt. 15 North left on Rt. 15 North.

Manassas take Rt. 234 Northwest to Rt. 15, turn right on Rt. 15.

" Follow Rt. 15 North to Leesburg. Turn right onto Rt. 15 By-Pass and go North approximately 5 miles.

" Turn left onto Tutt Lane, continue to Morven Park entrance on the left.

From the Baltimore-Washington Area: Cross the Bay Bridge and follow Route 50 to show site, on the right side of the highway (6.8 miles east of Junction Rt. 50 and Maryland Rt. 404) - Marker 58 on Route 50.

From the Delaware Area: Route 301 to Route 213 to Route 50 East to show site as above.

EXHIBITORS CROSSING THE CHESAPEAKE BAY BRIDGE ARE ADVISED TO ALLOW AN HOUR FOR POSSIBLE TRAFFIC DELAYS.

Routes to the Shows

From Baltimore - I-70 West, Exit #80 (Route 32 South), turn Right at Old National Pike (Rt. #144), which is the first light (1/2 mile), then turn Right on Fairgrounds Road.

From Washington - I-95 North, Exit on Route 32 (West), to Old National Pike (Rt. #144). At the Rt. #144 light turn Left, then turn Right on Fairgrounds Road.

From the West - I-70 East, Exit #80 (Route 32 South), follow directions from Baltimore.

From the South - Route 95 from Richmond. Take Exit #152B - Route 234 North toward

Manassas. Follow Route 234 approximately 10-12 miles. Turn right at light to Route 234

Business/Dumfries Road. Prince William County Fairgrounds is on the left directly after the

Armory. Turn left after the large Fairgrounds Sign.

From the West - Route 66 to Exit 44 - Route 234 South (Manassas). THIS IS THE EXIT

BETWEEN ROUTE 29 (Gainesville) AND RT 234 BUSINESS. Follow Route 234 South for

several miles. Turn left at the light to Route 234 Business/Dumfries Road. Prince William

County Fairgrounds is on the left directly after the Manassas Armory. Turn left after the large

Fairgounds Sign.

From the East - Route 495 from the American Legion Bridge to Route 66 West. Follow Route

66 to Exit 53 - Route 28 South (Centreville/Manassas). Follow Route 28 South until you get

to Manassas. Turn left onto Liberia Avenue (Taco Bell & Burger King on your left). Follow

Liberia through the light for Prince William County Parkway/Fairview. You are now on the

Prince William Parkway. Continue on the Prince William Parkway until the light at Route 234.

Turn right onto Route 234 North and right at the next light onto Route 234 Business/Dumfries

Road. Prince William County Fairgrounds is on the left directly after the Manassas Armory.

Turn left after the large Fairgounds Sign.

From the East - Route 95/495 from the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. Take Route 95 South/

Richmond. Follow Route 95 for approximately 10 miles to Exit 158B Prince William Parkway

(Route 3000 toward Manassas.) Follow the Parkway for about 12 miles. (Note in 5 miles the

Parkway veers to the left.) When you get to the light at the intersection of Prince William

Parkway, Liberia, and Fairview, turn left (still on Parkway.) Continue on the Prince William

Parkway until you arrive at the third traffic light - for Route 234. Turn right onto Route 234

North, right at next light onto Route 234 Business/Dumfries Road. Prince William County

Fairgrounds is on the left directly after the Manassas Armory. Turn left after the large

Fairgounds Sign.

From the North - Coming down Route 15 from Leesburg. Follow Route 15 South to Route

66. Route 66 East to Exit 44 Route 234 South. Follow Route 234 South for several miles. Turn

left at the stoplight onto Route 234 Business/Dumfries Road. Prince William County

Fairgrounds is on the left directly after the Manassas Armory. Turn left after the large

Fairgounds Sign.
